El Clasico: La Liga ask for Barcelona-Real Madrid game to be moved

La Liga has requested for El Clasico on 26 October to be moved from the Nou Camp stadium of Barcelona to Real Madrids Bernabeu over fears of civil unrest.
There have been days of protest in Barcelona following nine leaders were jailed on Monday.
More protests are expected from town on the afternoon of the game.
La Liga created the petition to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), mentioningunique circumstances beyond our control.
The petition has not been created to Barcelona or Real Madrid. BBC Sport has contacted both clubs for remark.
Both clubs will be asked by the RFEF to provide their view, together with all the Federations competitions committee to make its choice.
The Catalan Football Federation suspended although that judgment doesnt influence even the national team or La Liga matches all matches in the area on Monday.
Catalonia is a region in north-east Spain and at a referendum on 1 October 2017, declared prohibited by Spains Constitutional Court, roughly 90 percent of Catalan votes throw backed independence. Turnout was 43%.
The two separatists were convicted of sedition and handed prison sentences of between two and 13 years by the Supreme Court of Spain.
Following the analysis, Barcelona said:Prison is not the solution.
The Spanish champions added:Now more than ever, the team asks all political leaders to lead a process of discussion and discussion to solve this particular conflict, which should also allow for the launch of convicted political and civil leaders.
FC Barcelona also expresses its own support and solidarity to the families of those who are deprived of their freedom.
